Privacy

What we keep, and why.

Your account, your payments, the waitlist and this site, in plain words. How we handle your code is on the security page.
  1. 1

    What we collect

For the waitlist: your email address; the optional answers you tap (who you are, your app's stage, what built it, your country); a WhatsApp number only if you choose to give one; and which form you used. For an account: your name and email address, from Google, GitHub or the email you sign in with. For a payment: the amount, the job it was for, and the payment provider's reference for it.

  2. 2

    Payments

Razorpay (India) and Stripe (elsewhere) take your payment on their own pages. Your card number, UPI ID and bank details go to them, never to us, and they keep them under their own privacy policies.

  3. 3

    Sign-in

Clerk runs sign-in for us. If you continue with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing from your Google or GitHub account beyond that.

  4. 4

    Why

To confirm your address, to decide who to invite to the beta first, and to write to you about the beta; to sign you in and show you your own jobs; to take, charge, release or refund your payments; and to tell you when a job needs you or is done. Nothing else.

  5. 5

    Who sees it

Us, and the services that do the work above for us: Clerk for sign-in, Razorpay and Stripe for payments, and our email provider. We don't sell it, share it otherwise or use it for advertising. This site sets no tracking cookies; sign-in sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in.

  6. 6

    How long

Waitlist answers: until the beta decisions are made, or until you ask us to delete them. An account: until you close it. Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.

  7. 7

    Deleting it

Reply to any email we send you and ask; we delete your entry and confirm.
